CWCF Honorees Announced for 13th Annual Scholarship Recognition Event
The College of Westchester Charitable Foundation (CWCF) is proud to recognize the achievements of Ken R. Theobalds and Marissa M. Weidner. Theobalds and Weidner have displayed exceptional dedication to CWCF and have supported CWCF’s mission to provide students with life-changing scholarship opportunities. Both distinguished individuals will be honored at our 13th Annual Scholar Recognition Event, which will be livestreamed on Thursday, May 19th.
Ken R. Theobalds has been awarded with the title of Lifetime Achievement Honoree. Theobalds is the President and Managing Partner of RiverRun Partners, LLC a Government Affairs and business consulting firm. He has previously been recognized by the New York Urban League, the American Red Cross, the NAACP, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Westchester, the African American Men of Westchester, the Westchester County Association, the County Board of Legislators, the U.S. Congress, the National Association of Securities Professionals Foundation, and many others.
Marissa M. Weidner has been awarded with the title of Corporate Honoree. Weidner is the Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer for Webster Bank. She currently serves as Co-President on the Board of Directors for the College of Westchester’s Charitable Foundation and is also on the Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County’s Board of Directors. Weidner also has been named a Woman of Impact by the NY Business Journal, was recognized by the Business Council of Westchester as a Rising Star under 40, and is a recipient of the College of Westchester’s Alumni of the year award.
CWCF is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides students in need at the College of Westchester with scholarship and grant opportunities. Throughout the past 17 years, CWCF has rewarded students with over $350,000 worth of scholarships and grants. Furthermore, 90% of CWCF scholarship recipients have graduated or are continuing their education at CW.
